Sweetest Story Ever Told

Every Christmas, O little town of Ft. Green dons its apparel to represent O Little Town of Bethlehem. After a happy tip from neighbor Amy, we went up from Sanpete, out of the city of Manti, into the city of David, which is called Bethlehem.

 

And it came to pass. . . that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus . . .

. . . and all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

And she brought forth her first-born son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

I never tire of this Sweetest story ever told. I never tire of the hymns and carols about his miraculous birth and life.  And I shall always adore Him – Christ the Lord.
