The Relatives Came

One of my favorite children’s book’s is Cynthia Rylant’s  The Relatives Came.  We had our own version when we all converged at Monticello relatives for Auri’s baby blessing.
But first, on Saturday, Kyle and Anna took us to see Newspaper rock.

We went home by a scenic way. The clever poles in this picture each have pipes welded to them that tell you exactly what you’re looking at when you look through them.  I remember the “Six Shooter” best.

When the priesthood men went to their meeting in the evening we decided to surprise them by BBQ-ing the hamburgers ourselves. (Kristen figured it out for us)
