A Post About ‘Post’

Technology’s great, for sure.  And  one can get gloriously lost in the endless brilliance of ideas and creativity of endless others – I know I do (get lost, that is).  Being a mother and photographer and homekeeper and teacher and cub scouter and cook . . . I depend on it now for information and inspiration.  But . . . nothing holds a candle to opening  your mail box  on Valentine’s Day and reading your own name on an envelope whose ‘Love’ stamp bears the cancellation mark, ready for your (and only your) reading.  The sender’s handwriting, her handiwork and personal message deliberately written for you - now that’s eye candy! and Heart candy, and good-for-what-ails you candy.  Thank you Genna-Vee!

And Note-worth events of the day:
Pink pancakes with pink and white vanilla ice cream and red raspberries.  We meant to watch a couple of episodes of Pink Panther, but opted for the pink-cheek experience of outdoor winter fun instead.

Mark loses a perfectly white, flawless tooth.  I wondered why it couldn’t have been the baby tooth that needs to be filled.  The TF (Tooth Fairy) saw fit to give $1.75 for it, but left the tooth for some reason.  Mark thought he might try his luck with it the next night too, but remembered stories about her leaving tickets for improper ‘tooth”conduct, and thought the better of it.
