This morning I was explaining something to the twins.
Mark said, “Mom, how do you know so much?”
I said, “I’m a Mom.” (he, he)
Kyle pipes in, “AND she’s in the PTA!”
Today we have a case of pink-eye keeping the twins home from school. I wish I could have a snap-shot of their hopeful, pleading, pinkish eyes first thing this morning. Anticipation was killing them as they waited for our verdict, “you’re staying home, young man!” (as if they were being punished) Followed by leaping and yelling and jumping for joy. Almost as good as Snow Day!
