Halloween At Our House

It’s almost Halloween and I see all kinds of fun, spooky decorations going up in neighbors yards.  ‘Tis the time for cobwebs, skeletons, ghostly figures, black ravens, dark silhouettes and mysterious people.  When I came home from my early morning bike ride, walking through our grass, I suddenly realized that Someone had already done the decorating – I only had to have an appreciative eye – and I do.  I also have a camera.  Looky here!

Quoth the raven "Nevermore!"
Annaleigh and Jay hate this one, it startles them every time.  But what good is an October without a few startles, and references to Edgar Allen Poe, I say.  Startle.  Hey, what a great word for October, I just noticed.
(start’l) to surprise, frighten, or alarm suddenly.

Dark silhouettes, and mysterious people!

Can anyone from Manti guess who they are?  Hint: they are the finest, wonderfulest couple ever, and have the nicest, cutest kiddos ever.

Ahhhhh!  Autumn – it never lasts long enough.
