A Pretty Bunch of Gals

We became very fond of Bingham's tractor. I don't know if they learned anything about photography, but it was a blast
when we went outside to show how evening light is a nice time to get great images.
Thanks for the fun gals! Enjoy.

| Sorry about this angle - I can't even figure it out. Usually I like soft and muted for girls, but this one had to be contrasty. |

Bryce and Amber #2
Jay and I got our cameras Saturday and had an engagement photo shoot with these two. F-U-N I really like working with my Jay. He is a great photographer and has a masculine artistic eye for wonderful moments I would miss (see b&w photo below). This is the first shoot with Bryce and Amber. We will be following them through another engagement (when Spring has sprung), bridals, groom (we think the groom shots are missing in most wedding photography), bridal couple, and wedding day!
I can hardly wait to capture them at a most beautiful time of life. Looking forward to it Bryce and Amber!

| We found a colorful door frame that Bryce didn't make look too small. He's a handsome AND big guy! This is another image they just provided for me. My favorite ones. |

Engaged - Bryce and Amber
More soon to come of this handsome couple! I didn't worry when this bride and groom-to-be insisted they don't like to have their pictures taken. I knew they would be fabulous - they couldn't help themselves - you'll see.

A Pile o' Purdy Petals Cake
A specialty cake for my beloved ward's RS birthday party. Pleeze, pleeze some bride, somewhere - order this one! I would love to create it on a big wedding scale. (This one is a single 10-8-6-4)

Which one is which?
A rare thing happened Saturday. No, really it started Friday night - during GNO (girls night out). Right in the middle of seedling discussion and fashioning crepe paper iceland poppies (I almost wrote poopies - BIG difference whew! glad I caught it before you would have read it) - there was a lot of estrogen flowing in and through the house; well, in walks the Richard barely here from Washington. He didn't have any feminine presence to add to the group, but we kept him anyway. And when his twin brother Aaron and Josh came in, the GNO took a new direction. That's when I found out they would be refereeing a basketball game together the next morning. Well, I had to be there. What a treat - I have no trouble telling them apart until I saw them dressed exactly alike running around a basketball court gesticulating in the same manner. It was like poetry! Between curt tweets, clear calls, and straight-forward arm signals there was no sloppy or unfair ball or body handling going on. The only complaint I heard was from a disgruntled, pouty player But I also heard his coach explain something about "feet planted" and "will always be called like that" and "it's all good, buddy". There must be some other perks to having an identical look alike - players, coaches and crowd have a hard time knowing who to holler at for disagreeable calls (of which there really were none, they are THAT good!)

(Note: the edit looked so good, but publishing it chopped off the picture and I don't know how to fix it, sorry)
O-Tay, Kenningtons. Can you name that twin? Is it Richard and Aaron, or Aaron and Richard? Don't think one is taller than the other, they're not. The ground they are standing on is sloped.
Even their SHOES are the same fer Pete's sake, and not planned. Look alike, think alike, love 'em lots.
Their referee uniforms are great, but their pilot and air traffic controller uniforms are even cooler. And to think they used to sass their big sisters and ride around the house on little green worms with four wheels on the floor (sometimes) and handle bars sticking out of their heads (the worms, not the twins). What do YOU remember about these g'lookin' guys when they were squirts?
L's Baptism
No chance to catch the botheres and sisters, they streaming inside and out with the cousins. We were lucky to catch L and his mum and dad.
Anna and I want to take this same picture at his missionary farewell. She says the couch will have to go by then, however.
Grandma Kennington is proud of all her grandkids. Gee, Mom, I hope I look like you when I grow up.
Mother/Son
By the time we decided to take some pictures, the party-going-baptism-celebrating-group had all but dispersed. These are the days that make up the good life. Yes?
